Dr Olaho works as a Consultant/Immunologist at the TicVac Anti-Tick Vaccine Development Project. A Veterinary Surgeon by profession, he is widely experienced in research and Devlopment having served Director of Research at NARO (1996 to 2001) before becoming the Director of Animal Resources at the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (2000 to 2010). Dr Olaho has also worked with African Union as a consultant on transboundary diseases (2010 to 2017) and has been serving as Project Coordinator at IAU-IBAR since 2010.

Dr Olaho holdsDr. Mukiibi holds a Bachelors in Veterinary Medicine (BVM) & Surgery from Makerere University and a Masters and PhD (MSc & PHD) in Veterinary Pathology and Microbiology from the Free University of Berlin.
